Facelift Version 2023 The Cheapest Mercedes-AMG Car in Indonesia Launches – Nitoba

Jakarta — PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia launched the cheapest facelift model from the Mercedes-AMG product line for the Indonesian market.

This model is the Mercedes-Benz A 35 4MATIC Sedan which is marketed at a price of IDR 1.18 billion.

In its official statement, Monday (24/7/2023), PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia explained that the A 35 4MATIC Sedan is a Mercedes-AMG model that is assembled locally at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Wanaherang, Bogor.

Present as a facelift model, the latest A 35 4MATIC Sedan brings several changes.

New things on the exterior include the new multibeam headlamp design, Affalterbach logo, panoramic sliding sunroof, hands free access, and new tail lamp design.

Meanwhile, changes to the interior include the AMG Performance steering button, flat center console, new design steering wheel, wireless charging, and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

In terms of performance, the A 35 4MATIC Sedan is powered by a Mercedes-AMG M260 2,000cc 4-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 306 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm.

Apart from these models, PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia also launched a facelift of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ Hatchback which is offered at IDR 1.51 billion.

Present as a sportier model, this hatchback carries a Mercedes-AMG M139q 2,000cc 4-cylinder engine with 421 hp of power and a maximum torque of 500 Nm.

The changes experienced are not much different from the previous model.

For the exterior, it consists of a new multibeam lamp design, auropackage, Affalterbach logo, panoramic sliding sunroof, hands free access, and new design tail lamps.

Then for the interior includes the AMG Performance steering button, AMG Performance seat electric (heater), Burmester surround sound, fat center console, new design steering wheel, wireless charging, and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Choi Duk Jun, President Director of PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia, said the two new cars were the 7th and 8th models out of 19 models that will be launched in Indonesia this year.

“These two new models are part of the special Mercedes-AMG line, which reflects luxury performance. One Man, One Engine is the philosophy that sets Mercedes-AMG apart from other vehicles,” he said.
