Present in Malaysia, Mazda Doesn’t Want to Bring the MX-30 Electric Car to Indonesia – Nitoba

Tangerang — PT Eurokars Motors Indonesia (EMI) as the Brand Holder Agent (APM) for Mazda in Indonesia has not yet planned to bring the MX-30 electric car to Indonesia.

This was conveyed directly by the Managing Director of EMI, Ricky Thio during the inauguration of the Mazda dealership in BSD City, Tangerang some time ago.

“Currently, we have no plans to present the Mazda MX-30 in Indonesia,” said Ricky.

The Mazda MX-30 was exhibited at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.

The electric car has been launched in other countries, such as Malaysia.

This is what might make people wonder about the presence of the Mazda MX-30 Indonesia.

In Malaysia, the MX-30 is available in 2 variants, namely EV Mid and EV High.

For the High variant, it is equipped with more features than the Mid.

MX-30 High telah dilengkapi Electric G-Vectoring Control Plus dan Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) i-ACTIVSENSE.

The i-ACTIVSENSE feature on this car consists of Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning System, Adaptive LED Headlights, Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Keep Assist System.

Not only that, the MX-30 High is also equipped with a 12-speaker Bose audio system, electric seats with memory function, and a 360 camera.

Regarding the kitchen runway, the MX-30 is equipped with an e-SKYACTIV EV drive motor with a 35.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery that can put out a power of 143 hp and a maximum torque of 271 Nm.

On the other hand, EMI will most likely present Mazda’s first Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) equipped with Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology in Indonesia, namely the CX-60.

In Australia, this car comes in 3 engine options, including 3,300 cc petrol, 2,500 cc petrol plug-in hybrid and 3,300 cc diesel.

In addition, there is also a 3,300 cc engine with mild hybrid technology or M Hybrid Boost which is capable of producing 280 hp of power with a maximum torque of 450 Nm.
