Lionel Messi has reportedly decided to strengthen the Argentina national team in the Asian Tour against Australia and Indonesia on the June FIFA Matchday.
This news was revealed by Argentine media, El Destape, which claimed Messi had informed his decision to the Argentine coach, Lionel Scaloni, and the Argentine Football Federation (AFA).
“Lionel Messi has made a decision with the Argentina national team ahead of the friendlies against Australia and Indonesia in two FIFA Matchday matches. The captain, world champion in Qatar 2022, has already informed AFA and Lionel Scaloni about what he will do in the June 2023 match,” wrote El Destape.

The decision that Messi made was that the 35-year-old striker wanted to strengthen the Argentina national team against Australia and Indonesia. Argentina is scheduled to face Australia in Beijing, China, on June 15 and then face Indonesia in Jakarta on June 19.
Even though there were no crucial points contested by Team Tango in the two matches, Messi still wants to strengthen the Argentina national team on this FIFA Matchday.
