Jakarta – There are many new cars that will be launched at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, next August.
GIIAS The Series is back this year. The implementation will take place in four major cities, namely Tangerang, Surabaya, Semarang and Bandung.
The first series of GIIAS 2023 will be held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD, South Tangerang, on August 10-20.

Dozens of vehicle brands in both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments are ready to enliven this international standard automotive exhibition.
Interestingly, at this year’s GIIAS there were several new car brands from China participating. Each of these brands made their debut in Indonesia.
Not only new brands, GIIAS 2023 in Tangerang will also be colored by the presence of new cars from a number of well-known automotive manufacturers in the country.
This was confirmed directly by Rizwan Alamsjah, Chair III as well as Chair of the Organizers of the Gaikindo Exhibition.
“The enthusiasm of the participants was extraordinary, this year’s GIIAS was attended by more brands, with a larger area. A few leaks, the information is that there are many new car launches that will be presented at this year’s GIIAS,” said Rizwan in Jakarta, Wednesday (24/5/2023).

Regarding the new car models that will be launched at GIIAS 2023, they have not been conveyed in detail.
In addition to many new cars, it is estimated that this year’s GIIAS will be enlivened with world premieres from various car brands. But again, the model of the car is still a secret.
“I don’t know frankly, because of their surprise. There will definitely be a world premiere,” said Yohannes Nangoi, Chairman of Gaikindo.
GIIAS Becomes a Place for Introduction of New Vehicles
In the past eight years, GIIAS has become a launch event for more than 250 vehicle product introductions, including nine vehicles with world premiere status.
GIIAS has also introduced future automotive technology through the presence of more than 60 concept cars.
This year’s GIIAS was attended by more than 30 brands, starting from Brand Holder Agents (APM) for passenger vehicles, namely; Audi, BMW, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, DFSK, Haval, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedez-Bens, MG, MINI, Mitsubishi Motors, Neta, Nissan, Ora, Porsche, Subaru, Suzuki, Tank, Toyota , VW, and Wuling.

Meanwhile, from commercial vehicles, there are Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, Toyota Commercial, and UD Trucks. Three car body brands are also present at GIIAS 2023, namely Adiputro, Laksana and Tentrem.
In addition, 14 APM motorcycles were also present, such as Astra Honda Motor, Aprilia, Benelli, Exotic, Harley Davidson, Ion Mobility, Keeway, Motoguzzi, Pacific, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Enfield, Segway, Vespa.
