Spanish League Results: Madrid Smash Valladolid 6-0, Benzema Hattrick

Real Madrid won 6-0 against Real Valladolid in the 2022/2023 Spanish League continuation match, Sunday (2/4) evening.

Los Blancos appeared dominant when they hosted Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid, Sunday (2/4).

Real Madrid, who played an attacking game through short passes, managed to open the scoring in the 22nd minute through Rodrygo’s strike.



After winning 1-0, Real Valladolid played more openly. This situation was actually used by Madrid to take advantage of the gaps in the Real Valladolid defense which was very easy to penetrate.

Real Madrid within seven minutes managed to add three goals that were bought up by Karim Benzema.

Benzema scored goals in the 29th, 32nd and 36th minutes which made him score a hat trick in this match. Even the third goal was scored with an acrobatic scorpion-style kick after taking advantage of Rodrygo’s cross.

Real Madrid also managed to close the first half with a 4-0 advantage over Valladolid.

In the second half Real Madrid did not relax their attacks. However, Valladolid also seemed to change strategy by playing more defensively.

Even so, Real Madrid were still able to increase their advantage to 5-0 through Marco Asensio’s goal in the 73rd minute.

Even Real Madrid was able to score a sixth goal through Lucas Vazquez’s goal in the 90+1 minute. Real Madrid won 6-0 over Real Valladolid.

This victory keeps Real Madrid in second place in the Spanish League standings with 59 points from 27 matches played.

Real Madrid are now 12 points behind Barcelona who lead the Spanish League standings.
