Repsol Honda Threatened Without a Driver in MotoGP Argentina 2023

The Repsol Honda Team is threatened with no racers at the 2023 Argentina MotoGP because Joan Mir is in a dubious condition.

Mir is reportedly still having problems with his ankle after having an accident on the first lap of the Argentina MotoGP sprint race, Sunday (2/4) early morning Indonesian time.

Certainty regarding Mir’s condition will be announced before warming up ahead of the race.

Quoted from Crash, Mir was rushed to the hospital to undergo examination and returned to the medical post on the circuit for evaluation.

This is not the first time Mir has injured his ankle. Last year, the former Suzuki racer also experienced problems at the same ankle.

If Mir cannot appear, then Repsol Honda will certainly be without a racer. It has been confirmed that Marc Marquez will not take part in the fast race at the Termas De Rio Hondo Circuit due to an accident at the Portuguese MotoGP last week.

Losses will be experienced by the Repsol Honda team, which has only collected 12 points so far from third place Marquez in the Portuguese MotoGP sprint race and 11th place Mir in the Portuguese MotoGP race.
