Francesco Bagnaia was overthrown by Marco Bezzecchi from the top of the 2023 MotoGP standings after the Ducati racer crashed at the 2023 Argentina MotoGP, Sunday (2/4).
Bezzecchi won the 2023 Argentina MotoGP after beating Johann Zarco and Alex Marquez in a race on a wet track. Meanwhile, Bagnaia crashed and was only able to finish in 16th position.
Failure to get points at the 2023 Argentina MotoGP made Bagnaia be couped by Bezzecchi from the top of the 2023 MotoGP standings. Bezzecchi is currently at the top with 50 points, nine points ahead of Bagnaia.

In third place is Johann Zarco with 35 points, followed by Alex Marquez with 33 points. Maverick Vinales is in fifth place with 32 points, seven ahead of Jack Miller.
Brad Binder, who finished in the distended position at the 2023 Argentina MotoGP race, is in seventh position with 22 points. Jorge Martin is in eighth position with 22 points.
Meanwhile, the Yamaha duo, Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo, are in ninth and tenth positions after performing quite well in Argentina.
This is the first victory for the VR46 team owned by Valentino Rossi in the MotoGP event. For Bezzecchi, this is also the first victory for the racer from Argentina in MotoGP.
Bezzecchi’s last victory in the Grand Prix event occurred at the Moto2 Styria race, August 8 2021.
