Marco Bezzecchi won the 2023 Argentina MotoGP and Francesco Bagnaia crashed in the race at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, Santiago, Sunday (2/4).
Bezzecchi was unbearable at the Argentina MotoGP race. The VR46 racer immediately led the race from the start, followed by Alex Marquez and Bagnaia.
Fabio Quartararo experienced difficulties in the first lap after going wide at turn 7 due to Takaaki Nakagami’s maneuver. The Yamaha racer then slipped to 16th position.
The change in position at the front only occurred on the 16th lap, when Bagnaia successfully overtook Marquez to be in second place.
Unfortunately, two laps later, Bagnaia made a blunder. The defending MotoGP champion lost control at turn 13 and fell. Although he was able to continue the race, Bagnaia was only able to finish 16th ahead of Brad Binder.
The Bagnaia incident made Bezzecchi lead up to 6.6 seconds over Marquez. Meanwhile, Franco Morbidelli is in third place.
But Johann Zarco showed incredible speed in the last three laps. The Pramac Ducati racer successfully overtook Morbidelli on the 23rd lap, followed by Marquez on the final lap.
Bezzecchi finally managed to become the winner of the 2022 Argentina MotoGP, followed by Zarco and Alex Marquez. Three Ducati satellite racers on the podium.
