Argentina MotoGP Race: Bezzecchi Breaks an Egg

The defending champion was riding comfortably in second place after overtaking Alex Marquez when, with eight laps to go, he went down alone.

At the time of the crash, Bezzecchi had opened up more than five seconds further in front. This is the first victory for the Valentino Rossi team in MotoGP. These results also catapulted young Rimini to the top of the standings, shifting Pecco.

Bagnaiai’s mistake sparked a fight behind him, with Johann Zarco the star of the action. The Frenchman kept going and reached the final lap on more tires than Marquez, who could not prevent the Pramac rider from rocketing past him on the last lap.

Even so, Marquez’s younger brother was still able to present his first podium for Gresini Racing and Ducati.
