Both proved to have more ability in creating the fastest time there. Vinales and Espargaro each won in the Argentina MotoGP.
In contrast to Moto2 which seems relaxed where the racers hold back, in MotoGP, everyone immediately step on the gas. Moreover, the tracks are gradually drying up even though the thick gray clouds are hanging.
Franco Morbidelli was impressive at the start with 1:41.048. Aleix Espargaro, who was in second place, was replaced by Jorge Martin.
But after nine minutes, the Aprilia duo reigned supreme. Espargaro had shot to the top before being dethroned by Maverick Vinales who scored 1:40,924.
Takaaki Nakagami made the public laugh by being the fastest, with 1:40,825. The new Ducati showed its teeth through Jorge Martin in the 10th minute. The Pramac racer was 0.1 seconds better.
In that period, Ducati only represented Martin in the top five. Nakagami did not want to give up and took P1 again with 1:40,647. Fabio Quartararo is outside the top 10, while Morbidelli is Yamaha’s best racer in P5.
The 2021 MotoGP world champion looked annoyed. He returned to the pits after a few minutes around the track.
Ducati finally put two riders in the top five after 17 minutes. Francesco Bagnaia pushed into the top three, behind Nakagami and Martin.
Augusto Fernandez’s time was removed for breaking the track limit at Turn 14. He was 14th at 20 minutes.
More Desmosedici riders in the top five going into 23 minutes. Marco Bezzecchi shot to P3 between Martin and Bagnaia.
Quartararo returned to the arena with 22 minutes remaining in the session. The Yamaha Factory Racing racer expressed his disappointment at not being able to maximize the power of his motorcycle engine.
Nakagami’s domination ended after Vinales recorded 1:40,559. The LCR Honda racer was flanked by the Aprilia duo.
In the final 17 minutes, Morbidelli made the quickest progress. However, he failed to defend P1 which Vinales took, 1:40,230. Alex Marquez jumped from mid-table to P5.

Remaining six minutes, Bezzecchi stretched and took first place. The VR46 Racing driver made 1:39,700. Quartararo has never accelerated and continues to be outside the top 10.
Vinales chased the Aprilia RS-GP to carve a time that was 0.5 seconds faster and has the right to top the table. He was surrounded by Desmosdici riders. Martin, Alex Marquez, Johann Zarco and Luca Marini occupy the four slots behind him.
Quartararo was furious that he was getting slower as time went on, where he finished P15. He even lost far from his teammate Morbidelli who took eighth place.
In front of the Italian racer, there was a group of Ducati, namely Luca Marini P7, Zarco P6 and Marquez. Nakagami is in fourth place behind Martin.
