There are eleven international airlines that have implemented direct flights to Indonesia. The eleven international airlines have direct flights to seven countries from and to Indonesia.
The eleven international airlines in question include Garuda Indonesia, Emirates, Etihad, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Turkish Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch, Ethiopian Airlines, Lion Air and Mentari Airlines Group.
Regarding the opening of direct flights to Indonesia, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno, said in The Weekly Brief With Sandi Uno, Monday (27/3).

“I congratulate the 11 airlines for opening direct flights from seven countries, namely the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Turkey and Ethiopia,” said Sandiaga.
Travelers from all over the world can fly directly to Indonesia. In addition, they also provide flight services to four cities in Indonesia. “The four cities in Indonesia are Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan and Makassar commuting,” he added.
“This is of course in line with the recovery steps and the creation of 4.4 million jobs in 2024,” said the former deputy governor of DKI Jakarta.
Currently, the Indonesian government is still trying to reduce airfare prices for flights within the country. In addition, the government is also boosting tourism so that there will be an increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia.
