Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
Netizens are calling to watch the match between the Indonesian national team and Burundi on the FIFA Matchday at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Tuesday (28/3).
This invitation can be seen in the comments column on PSSI’s uploads on Twitter. It’s just that the call to watch the FIFA Matchday is not solely for the sake of supporting the Garuda Squad, but rather concerns that it will be the last match of the Indonesian National Team.
Speculation that PSSI will be punished by FIFA continues to roll. The threat arose after FIFA canceled the draw for the 2023 U-20 World Cup which was supposed to be held in Bali, (31/3).

FIFA canceled the 2023 U-20 World Cup draw because they felt that Indonesia could not guarantee security. This happened after the Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, openly rejected Israel’s presence on the Island of the Gods.
The rumor that Indonesia could be threatened with FIFA sanctions continues to be discussed by netizens. The Indonesian supporters in cyberspace also called for the crowd to watch the Indonesia vs Burundi duel because they were worried that it would be the Red and White Team’s last game.
“For all Indonesian supporters, let’s watch the final match of the Indonesian national team tonight! And for you, min, be content with tweeting the Indonesian national team tonight, because in the future there will not be tweets like this again.”
“Congratulations on competing in the last match. Hope you win. Hopefully you can go home with a bit of pride in your heart.”
“As well as thanksgiving or farewell to remember the last FIFA Matchday match.”
“Come on, let’s all watch. Who knows, this will be the last match for the Indonesian national team on the international stage, before.”
Of the many comments about concern that this will be the last game for the Indonesian National Team, there are netizens who joke that the Red and White Team should wear black uniforms, because it is seen as a sign of mourning.
