Information about the Redmi Note 12 Turbo variant, which is on its way to release on March 28, has been circulating on the timeline a lot. Leaks regarding this cellphone have been spread on Weibo by leakers. Now several pictures have surfaced online along with some additional device specs.

Apparently, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s screen will be 12-bit, supports HDR10+ and features a 120Hz refresh rate, PWM 1920Hz dimming, and SGS Low Blue Light Certification. Previous rumors indicated a 6.67-inch diagonal display and FHD+ resolution. This phone will have fairly thin bezels, measuring just 1.95mm at the top, and 1.42mm on the sides of the screen, with a 2.22mm chin below and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.45%. The entire body of the phone will be 7.9 mm thick and weigh 181 grams.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is also rumored to come with stereo speakers with Dolby ATMOS technology and Hi-Res Audio support with a 3.5mm audio jack. Of course there is still an IR blaster which has become a tradition. It seems that this smartphone will be the first to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, along with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS3.1 storage. As per the new teaser, the chip will be cooled by a 3725mm vapor chamber cooler.

Even the latest sources claim that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, not on the screen. Also on the expected specs list is a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 67W charging. The phone is expected to have a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. It’s also said to be running Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top. There is still no word on the price and global availability for this product, nor any information on whether this product will officially enter Indonesia.
