CS:GO Breaks 1.5 Million Players Record After CS2 Announcement!
The sudden announcement of Counter Strike 2 by Valve made the peak of concurrent players in CS:GO skyrocket. The peak of CS:GO players at the beginning of the year was 1.3 million. However, after breaking the record in early February, CS:GO has now reached a concurrent player peak of 1.5 million players.

1.5 Million Players for CS:GO is the second highest record in Steam History in the all-time top list of players. The only game with a higher peak is PUBG:BATTLEGROUNDS with 3.2 million players in 2017.
