The Kia EV6 GT-Line electric car has been presented in Indonesia and is claimed to have received a positive response. Maybe many of the Carmudians are curious about the specifications of the Kia EV6.

Previously, the Kia EV6 had its world premiere in 2021 via virtual.
Having a crossover-style appearance, the performance of this electric car is no joke.
The EV6 GT Line, one of its variants, can accelerate from 0-100 km per hour in just 3.5 seconds.
In addition, this electric car is the first model to use the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) which is dedicated to electric cars from Kia.

In Indonesia, the price of the KiaEV6 GT-Line currently touches IDR 1 billion, to be precise IDR 1.299 billion On The Road (OTR) Jakarta. This includes a wall charger that can be installed at home.

The car unit was brought into the country in the form of CBU (Completely Built Up) alias in its entirety from its home country, South Korea.
There are five color options for this electric car, namely Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Moonscape, Runway Red and Yacht Blue.
Specifications of the Kia EV6 GT-Line

Machine
Kia said that the EV6 GT-Line is equipped with a liquid cooled lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 77.4 kWh.
On paper, this battery has power reaching 320.5 hp and peak torque of 605 Nm.
The power comes from two electric motors attached to the front and rear wheels respectively.
When compared to one of its rivals, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the battery power of the Kia EV6 GT-Line is slightly larger.
For information, the Ioniq 5 has a battery with a capacity of 72.6 kWh which is capable of producing 300.8 hp.
Meanwhile, the EV6 GT-Line relies on an AWD (All Wheel Drive) drive system.
If you want to fully charge the car with an 11 kW AC current wall charger, it will take about seven hours.
However, if you use fast charging with a DC current of 50 kW, it takes only about 73 minutes from 10 to 80 percent.
The manufacturer himself claims that in one charge, this car can explore up to 506 km.
Uniquely, as is known, the EV6 GT-Line is an electric car, which means that users will not hear the roar of the engine when driving.
If users want to hear the sound of their car’s engine while driving, they can take advantage of the artificial engine sound feature that can only be heard by occupants in the cabin.

To use this feature, it’s quite easy. Users can use the charging dock at the bottom of the second row of seats, or use the V2L adapter on the charging section outside the car.

Exterior
If you look at the exterior of the Kia EV6 GT-Line, it looks very modern overall.

In terms of dimensions, the EV6 GT-Line is 4,695 mm long, 1,890 mm wide and 1,550 mm high.
Carrying the tiger nose face, this electric car is pinned with a modern head lamp that is able to provide bright lighting at night.
Interestingly, on the side, you can see the Auto Flush Handle which reinforces the modern impression on the EV6 GT-Line which is equipped with a touch sensor so that users can open their car doors. There are also rims with a size of 20 inches.
Not only that, there is also a wide sunroof on the car so that the driver and passengers can see the surrounding scenery when they are bored while driving.
The existence of this sunroof is also considered to be able to give a broad impression to the EV6 GT-Line cabin.
Moving to the back, there are LED taillights that can also provide bright lighting like the headlights.
The shape of these lights is curved which adds a sporty and futuristic effect to the EV6 GT-Line.
Interior
Just like the exterior, the interior of the Kia EV6 GT-Line itself also looks very modern.

This Kia electric car can carry up to five people. In total there are two rows of benches with five headrests so that the driver and passengers can sit comfortably during the trip.
To provide more convenience for each user, there are two wide screens measuring 12.3 inches.
This screen is equipped with touchscreen navigation to Bluetooth connectivity which allows users to listen to their favorite music while driving.
There is also an audio system with 14 speakers to further pamper the user’s ears.
Other convenience features embedded in the EV6 GT-Line are also embedded, such as ventilated & heated front seats and wireless charging.
Users can also charge their smartphone while driving without using a cable.

Users don’t need to worry when they have to carry a lot of stuff because there is plenty of storage space in the car’s cabin.
Please note, the EV6 GT-Line has a trunk space of up to 520 liters.
If you need a larger luggage capacity, the second row seats can be folded so that the capacity increases to 1,300 liters.

Offered at IDR 1.2 billion, the Kia EV6 GT-Line is certainly equipped with various sophisticated and capable features.

How to use this one feature is not difficult. First, the user presses a special button on the center console.
Next, the driver parks the car slowly approaching the desired parking spot.
The feature will detect the presence of the spot, then ask the driver to stop.
Next, the user just needs to follow the instructions that appear on the car’s head unit to park the car automatically.
Not to forget, the EV6 GT-Line is also equipped with i-pedal technology which allows the driver to accelerate, decelerate and stop moving with just one pedal.
