The victim of a Russian foreigner was found at his residence in Gianyar, Bali.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, DENPASAR — The Gianyar Resort Police, through members of the Ubud Sector Police, evacuated the body of a foreign citizen (WNA) from Russia who died at the Pendet Museum, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. Ubud Police Chief Kompol Gusti Ngurah Yudistira, in a statement received via WhatsApp message delivery media in Denpasar, Bali, Friday (23/9/2022), stated that the foreigner died in a prone position sitting in a chair and his head on a table facing towards below without wearing clothes at the Pendet Museum Jalan Raya Nyuh Bojog, Mas Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali.
The foreign national who was found dead named Belobok Aleksander (34) from Russia died on Thursday (22/9/2022) night at around 21.00 WITA. According to the Ubud Police Chief, the news about the foreigner’s death came from witness Yohan Rusli and three other friends who came to the Pendet museum, Jalan Raya Nyuh Bojog, Mas Village, Ubud where the victim lived to visit the victim.
Arriving at the crime scene (TKP), witness Yohan Rusli asked the victim’s whereabouts to witness Wayan Darsana, who happened to be on night vigil at the Pendet Museum. Yohan Rusli and witness Wayan Darsana went to the victim’s room to check on the victim’s condition.
“After arriving in front of the victim’s room, witness Yohan Rusli saw the victim on the terrace of the room face down sitting on a chair and her head on the table facing down without wearing any clothes,” said the Ubud Police Chief.
Witness Yohan Rusli had time to call the victim, but there was no response. The witness also saw that there were bruising on the back of the head.
The witness who saw this, immediately contacted the Ubud Sector Police to immediately go to the location and carry out further processing. At 21.30 WITA, the Ubud Police, led by the supervisor of Aipda I Dewa Gede Bagus Pranatha, arrived at the TKP and carried it out by the TKP.
After examining the crime scene, at 22.30 WITA PMI Gianyar Regency arrived at the scene and immediately evacuated the victim’s body. The victim’s body was taken to the Aricanti Hospital, Gianyar, for further examination.
According to witness Yohan Rusli, he and the victim last met on Sunday (18/9/2022) in the Canggu area, Badung Regency. After the meeting, witness Yohan Rusli contacted the victim via cellphone, but was never answered, and finally he took the initiative to visit the victim at his residence at the Pendet museum, Jalan Raya Nyuh Bojog, Mas Village, Ubud.
“The reasons for the death of the victim are not known for certain, further medical examination is necessary to determine the exact cause of the death of the victim,” said Ubud Police Chief Kompol Gusti Ngurah Yudistira.
He explained from the results of the examination of dr. Ari Toya from the Medical Clinic on the victim’s external body, 99 percent of the victim has died and there are bruising. Currently, the victim’s body is still being deposited at Aricanti Hospital and the plan is to transfer it to Prof Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar, for further examination.
