Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases of Covid-19 patients increased by 211 people. Thus, the accumulation of recovered patients was recorded at 4,115,958 people.
Especially in the case in DKI Jakarta, there was an increase of 93 people who were confirmed positive for Covid-19, from 300 to 393 people today. Meanwhile, judging from the active cases per province, DKI Jakarta is currently treating 1,885 patients, which is the highest number currently.
The number of active cases is followed by Central Java (1,037) and Riau Islands (759). Finally, in the case of death due to Covid-19, two people were recorded as victims of the virus. So that the number of patients who died confirmed Covid-19 was 144,129 people.
Meanwhile, the government has injected Covid-19 vaccine in 170,143,626 people in Indonesia, according to data compiled by the Ministry of Health in Jakarta on Sunday. There has been an increase in the number of injections of the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to 563,401 people as of today.
Then the second dose of vaccine was injected to 250,044 people, so that up to now there are 116,819,952 people receiving the complete dose. While injecting a third dose of booster vaccine or “booster” still intended for health workers. It was recorded that there were 1,839 additional recipients. Number of vaccine recipients “booster” until now as many as 1,326,404 people.
Previously, Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, said the government plans to start a vaccination program booster on January 12, 2022 with a target of 21 million people.
The government is still targeting 208,265,720 people to get the full dose of the Covid-19 vaccine to form group immunity.
