China — The Dongfeng Fengguang Mini EV is rumored to be paving in the first quarter of 2022. This potential competitor for Wuling electric cars excels in terms of performance with output greater energy.
This was quoted from Carscoops, Monday (3/1/2021). In terms of appearance, the two cars have quite a lot of similarities even though Dongfeng and Wuling are actually competitors.

Although the proportions are identical, there are still differences. For example, the black panel of the front bumper is more dynamic, grill wider, and the door is more dimensional.
Besides that window line and the design of the lamps is also different.
According to a Carscoops report, the dimensions of this car are slightly larger than the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV with a size (LxWxH) of 2,995 mm x 1,495 mm x 1,640 mm.
The Dongfeng Fengguang Mini EV will also be powered by a single electric motor capable of producing 34 hp. This figure is considered sufficient to meet the needs of driving in an urban environment.

Even so, the specifications for the battery used or the distance that can be promised are not yet known.
Based on information, the Dongfeng FengGuang Mini EV will make its debut in the first quarter of 2022. This car targets consumers of affordable electric cars with a predicted tag of US$5,000 or around Rp. 71.3 million.
The cheap electric car market is thriving in China. The Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, which stands on the Global Small Electric Vehicle (GSEV) platform, is listed as its best-selling product.
Not surprisingly, other manufacturers are encouraged to produce similar products. Other competitors in this segment are Chery QQ Ice Cream, Baojun E300 EV, Baizhi Daxiong, and Changan Benben E-Star which have a slightly larger body.
In particular, Wuling has said that it will bring a GSEV-based electric car to enliven the Indonesian market in the future.
