Reported from Game Rant, Square Enix previously announced that Dragon Quest X: Offline is slated to release on Switch in February 2021. However, the company recently announced that the offline version will be delayed until summer 2022. While a specific date will be announced if there is progress from the development process. The reason for this delay is related to development issues, where the company will re-polish the game so that it has a satisfactory final result.
Not only Dragon Quest X: Offline, the DLC for this game entitled “The Sleeping Hero and Guiding Ally Offline” has also experienced a release delay. The DLC that was originally planned to launch in the summer of 2022 becomes the fall of 2022. Dragon Quest X: Offline is also ready to be available on PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam.
